The Open Registration Process
Open registration is an event at which families not yet in co-op
register for the upcoming year. A lottery is held to ensure that
spaces are allotted fairly. In recent years it was held in
March. Once you arrive at the venue the process is as follows:
- Lottery numbers will be given to registrants as they enter.
Please note: one number per family.
- The event begins at 10 a.m. with an information fair for
the first hour.
- Registration begins at 11 a.m.
- Just prior to 11 a.m., all registrants will move to the lottery area.
- Once all registrants have numbers, we will then randomly
select numbers and immediately announce the last three
digits. Please listen for your number.
- Proceed to the registration area once your number is
called and present your ticket.
- You may then register for any open position and/or get
on a class' waitlist.
