Welcome to Broadview 3 to 5s
For children who will be at least three years of age by August 31st.
Parents are expected to stay and work in the classroom one day per week
and attend monthly parent meetings. All parents will also be
responsible for holding a board position or participating in a committee
and participate in fundraising activities. Parents will bring in a snack
for the entire class on a rotating schedule. Classes meet on Monday and
Wednesday mornings and Thursday afternoons from late September through
May. A typical class day's schedule follows:
- MORNING / AFTERNOON
- 9:30 - 10:50 / 12:00 - 1:20 Choice time
- 10:50 - 11:00 / 1:20 -1:30 Clean up
- 11:00 - 11:20 / 1:30 - 1:50 Circle time
- 11:20 – 11:30 / 1:50 – 2:00 Small group
- 11:30 - 11:55 / 2:00 - 2:25 Outside play
- 11:55 - 12:00 / 2:25 - 2:30 Goodbye
Children who will be at least four years of age by August 31st are
eligible to attend an extended day program, which begins in November and
runs through May. The teacher will determine days and times.
