Welcome to Meadowbrook 3 to 5s

Our Program

Meadowbrook 3-5s aims to foster your child's inner joy of learning. The fun-filled preschool program enables children to join in a wider community of their peers while spending hours in an enriching and stimulating environment. Families enjoy the support of other parents while contributing to the life of the school and sharing first school experiences with their child.

In addition to the morning program, we offer an extended day program for children who will turn four before the 31st of December. This program is held on Monday following the morning schedule. Children have lunch, master pre-K small and large motor skills, enjoy social and leadership opportunities and build self esteem in a familiar setting.

Teacher Susan

"Teacher Susan is my best teacher and I love her because she does fun things with us and she listens to us and watches out for everyone and plays with us and stuff like that!" 3-5s child

Our School Day

Our day begins with large motor activities. The site offers a choice of an indoor space as well as outdoor paved area, track and the remodeled ‘Annie’s Playground’. As often as possible we like to use this time to get outside and let the kids run, climb, play ball or dig in the sandbox.

Our welcome, story and discussion circle follows. The children enjoy a small group activity and gravitate to free play experiences including block & puzzle areas, home center & loft areas, art, sensory areas, snack, library and kitchen /science areas. We also offer carpentry, bike riding, and a puppet theatre. Our day closes with a song and game circle.

During the day children have the opportunity to take initiative through choice, practice co-operation in large and small groups and persevere through tasks in a supportive environment.
