Welcome to Sandhurst Pre-3s
Pre-3s are children turning three during the school year
(aged 24 to 35 months as of August 31). The children begin to
learn more about cooperation in a group as they continue to
enjoy circle time, table top activities, block area, sensory
experiences, music and art.
Child-lead Transitions from one activity to next are emphasized.
Parents attend one session per week with their child.
Our Teacher
Our Teacher is Dawn Gomez. Dawn taught at Meadowbrook for three years before transferring to Sandhurst in 2008.
Dawn is married to her high school sweetheart and has three children. She enjoys teaching in a coop setting
because she believes parent involvement and support create a rich learning environment, not only for the children,
but also for the adults. Dawn prefers to follow the children’s interests rather than a set schedule, She is flexible and open
to ideas and suggestions. She is calm, and easy-going, but she also likes to have fun and she embraces silliness.
Class Details
The Pre-3s class meets on Wednesday and Friday mornings, 9:30am
to 11:30am. Tuition is $70 per month.
