Pre 3's is a class for children who will be two years old by August 31st. Our Pre 3 class is on Tuesdays and Fridays 9:30 - 11:30 (working to 12:00 noon in winter quarter).
Ingraham Pre 3's program provides a nurturing introduction to school for your young child and family. It is wonderful to watch children who may at first be timid become self confident, adventurous, and can't wait for the next school day! The teacher, Diana, is magical with the children and her passion for teaching is obvious when you see her setting up the daily activities and interacting with the children. Our program is unique with the connection it has to the high school child development classes and the fantastic contributions they make for our young children.
Our physical site is a welcoming place for the small and curious. It is in a spacious one level portable with large windows and child sized furniture and fixtures. The setting is casual and fun, and there is always something new to discover and old-favorites to revisit. Ingraham Pre 3's also has a large outdoor play area, jam-packed with bikes, trikes and other fun activities for the children. On rainy days the exercise is moved to a dedicated indoor play building, featuring gym mats, climbing structures and other fun stuff!
"Close, fun, and nurturing environment. Class is "child-led"; the kid's are not forced to do things they are not interested in. Parents have a "voice" in the curriculum and structure of the classroom. This was an excellent opportunity for my child to get comfortable with and to trust other caring adults".
