victory heights toddlers

Welcome to the toddlers class!

The toddler year of life is filled with many exciting milestones -- learning to walk, learning to talk, learning that other adults and children are also in this world! Our program provides a warm, nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for this growth and learning to occur.

Our daily schedule includes developmentally appropriate activities for art, sensory table, home center play, block area play, fine motor manipulative play and gross motor active play (indoors and outdoors). We also have fun during our circle time with songs, puppets, flannel board stories, musical instruments, and dancing.

Parent education discussion time is incorporated into the daily schedule, providing parents a time to discuss parenting concerns and issues.

Our Teacher

The teacher for our toddler class, Karen Truelove, has been teaching in this co-op system for 25 years. She has both a bachelor's and a master's degree in Education and has taught elementary and early childhood classes during her 32-year teaching career. Victory Heights preschool holds extra special memories for Karen as both her children attended classes here.
