FAM180 - Parent Education Course

about parenting concerns with other parents, parents to be, and
preschool providers.
Our topics change each quarter and have included:

FAM 181 - Child Guidance Class (online)

Run out of options? Feel like your kids are out to get you?
Or simply want to expand your parenting tools?
STAR Parenting offers a four-step process and fifteen effective tools you
can use with your children, students, nieces, or nephews.
This fall-only online class will introduce you to the STAR (Stop, Think, Act, Review)
Parenting approach to child guidance.
You will learn:
- a four-step process to deal with challenging behavior
- to consider children’s temperament and development
- to use 15 tools from five areas of healthy child guidance
- to recognize and avoid common errors using the child guidance tools.
