FAM 181 - Child Guidance Class (online)

Run out of options? Feel like your kids are out to get you? Or simply want to expand your parenting tools?

STAR Parenting offers a four-step process and fifteen effective tools you can use with your children, students, nieces, or nephews. This fall-only online class will introduce you to the STAR (Stop, Think, Act, Review) Parenting approach to child guidance.

You will learn:

a four-step process to deal with challenging behavior
to consider children’s temperament and development
to use 15 tools from five areas of healthy child guidance
to recognize and avoid common errors using the child guidance tools.
